Re: Questions: AA50 FAQ
I like the new escort rules. Pretty sure Yoper wont.
But when you have 6 fighters sitting in your capital, its pretty clear some of them could be used to protect you from bombing.
Glad larry fixed the broken bomber problem (though it should not have been broken in the first place...)

Then again, it is just an optional rule.
He could have just gone back to the LHTR SBR rule.

AA50 Italian Colors
Overall the game is awesome, but the one thing I do NOT like is the color of the Italians...they look way to much like the Russians. So, I broke out the old grey german pieces and swapped them out. Looks much better...
What do you think?

RECENT UPDATED FAQs
Greg,
You might want to update your link with these new updated facts- as of Feb. 20th , 2009. There are some new questions and more detail. The recent updates are in "bright red" this time, versus the "regular red"- hard to tell unless you look at it carefully. All officially approved by Larry Harris himself.

Gross!!! You're definitely old school AA material. Might as well bust out the old white foam trays while your at it.
The brown-rust color doesn't bother me so much -but if I were to change them, I would probably paint them royal purple or royal blue or go with that really white-like color from the original british Revised pieces.

"Gross?" What in the heck do you mean? The grey is much more aligned to the color they wore. It was a lt. grey, green or tan depending on the regiment. But never the maroonish color the units are now. I prefer the old grey ones much better. And that has nothing to do with being old school AA pieces...
