Axis & Allies 1942, due out in August?

Yeap, the word is out...

"The 1942 Board game is the new “Revised”. I am pretty sure you already know about it... Not available for SGVII or Origins, but should be releasing at GC." - WotC/AH

And as most of you know all the information that has been provided by the AH website regarding the new game. Other than that, that is all I know at this time.

But in short, the AAR game as we know it will no longer exist in WotC's mind come the release of the new game...

I have some possibly good news for GEN CON on the heels of the Triple A shutdown...

I have just been informed that WotC will have a lot of 25 AA42 at GEN CON and I will be getting 6 copies myself. Now, I just talked to my supporter and he seemed pretty confident in that it will official hit the shelves on August 18. So, he doesn't see a reason why it shouldn't be out at GEN CON...

What ever it is worth...

WOW.. So you are getting 6 copies before release? How can I get my hands on some? I need to get decent pictures for the FMG site (With COMBAT DICE of course!)

I really wish I could but other business is keeping me tied down. I would really appreciate the pics! Maybe next year we will come down and get in on the action.
