Gencon in four weeks...

Ok Gencon is in four weeks. Some topics I'm throwing out there...

1) How many masters teams are going? I know some still need partners. Will alternates be needed?

2) Anyone plan on playing in the "casual" tournaments?

3) After 3 straight D-Day wins, shouldn't Greg just give me the trophy.

4) When is everyone getting to town?

5) Who is up for Settlers or Horrorclix on Wendesday?

Thanks for posting...I was getting ready to do the same about GEN CON but you beat me to it.

1. Masters; At this time, we have 8 teams just two partners that need to be ironed out. So, in short, no alternate teams should be needed.

2. I hope so! Unfourtunetly, I can't for obvious reasons.

3. Don't you already have enough?

4. noon Wednesday...but will have set up and have to take care of all the other things associated with the job...

5. You beat...just give us a call. Jeff and Robbie will be there as well in the early pm...we are staying in the Hyatt!

I think, like Yoper, you will always have to be an eliminator as long as you use a swiss system outside of the masters.

People in the masters likely wont drop. But those at Origins will.

Hey I was wondering...

On the AH site ad for AA Deluxe, it says that the game will be for 2-5 players. I thought it was 2-6 because Italy is the new player for the Axis. Can someone clear this up for me??? (Smorey?? Squirecam???)

1) It's not "Deluxe", it's an Anniversary Edition. I know, it's not A&A's anniversary, but it is AH's.

2)It surely is a typo. Then again, how often do you really ever play A&A with five, let alone six, players? Four is normally my limit and this is a rarity in and of itself.
