Re: Masters Invitational GEN CON: Pairings?
It is possible that I might be hitting the road on the 2nd.
My internship ends on the first and then it is time for the annual Duders Road Trip out West.
Only thing is that I might choose not to go... the return is cutting it close.
And by cutting it close, I mean they are dropping me off in Indy at 5.
So if I am not roadtripping I will be there, and I will consult the brother to see if the wife allows it.

Well Dave, my brother and I will do our best to make our bracket as difficult as possible Wink . Good luck and see you in August.
Verde,
I hope I can play sharp. I no longer have any FTF players where I now live. The last game I played was GEN CON '07. I know my partner has played some, so I hope we can compliment each other like last year. I too will do my best to be up to the challenge
Mike (right?), if we meet this year again, feel free to leave Germany vacant for us if it will make you feel better about next years bracketing!

No, I am Steve. You will be playing my brother and I in the second game this year. I hope that our bracket performs well and I wish you the best of luck.

Sorry about the confusion. In the first paragraph I was talking to you Steve. The second one I was responding to something Mike had said earlier about the bracketing. I should have used specific quotes but did not. I too wish you good luck and look forward to an enjoyable game.

FTF Practice
You could get in some A&A practice by coming to the WBC A&A tourney starting on Thursday, August 7th.

I know it is a bit out of the way for most, but at least you would get your practice.

Thanks for the offer Craig. Unfortunately I live in southern Georgia so my budget (free time and money) is fully consumed by GEN CON.

Oh, I know about picking which cons to go to.
Spring Gathering, Origins, and WBC.
I wish I could fit in GCI, but it is only one week after WBC and my wife is already on the edge with my three events. Four would put her over the top.
