Hey Greg,

Nice forum!!!
You're right about the economy and gas thing! My friend and I are contemplating on whether to come to GenCon because of the costs!!! It can be an expensive trip. Would like to see the New Deluxe though! Can't wait for that one.

See ya soon Cool

Any Origins pictures???

Questioneer,

You can go to the Swamp under the Origins heading for a few pics from the CON...

Hey ya Greg,

Great site, especially like the camo color scheme!

Dude, though, if you're going to include Horror Clix and PBM Forgotten Realms, you've GOT to include Settlers, too! Cool

So we can discuss how Mike requires two sheep for one wood in every deal, just so he can keep winning??

Yeah, might be worth it. Laughing

Settlers

Post by SwampHQ on Thu 10 Jul 2008, 19:49

Bushido,

Yeah, guess I forgot that one...seeing how you and Mike win most games, the rest of us really don't have a chance...

Peace,
GS Sad

Settlers

Post by Scopemonkey on Fri 11 Jul 2008, 13:56

Didn't know you guys were such Settlers gurus. I'll have to call in my wife and 7-year old to lay down a good West Michigan whipping on you guys.

Nice look to the forum, Greg! May it remain a good place to hang out and post.

I finally got around to finding your forum Greg. I am glad to see that you took the initiative to get this up. It is nice to not have to slog through the AH/gleemax boards for your tournament talk.

Anyways, that watch looks great you have for this year and I hope I can survive long enough to win one of them. I look forward to seeing everyone at Gen Con.

Hello all, forgive the newbie question but since I am now going to GenCon for the first time and I have played AA for years I'd like to get in on one or two of the game events but I have NO idea on how to register for the game session.
I am all set with my 4 day pass, but I need some help on where to go from here.

Thanks
C

Registration for the events on the website has closd. Now you have two options...

1) Register for the game on site (i.e. buy a ticket there); or,
2) Buy generic tickets and just show up for the event when its scheduled

You should be just fine buying generics and showing up.

GEN CON Registration

Post by SwampHQ on Sat 02 Aug 2008, 17:13

Chalt2,

Hey, thanks for stopping in on the forum. Great to have you...

Now, as far as GEN CON registration goes, Squire is correct. You can buy event tickets at GEN CON for all the AA events we run BUT, the lines at GEN CON get pretty ugly at certain times and many are scrabling to get the correct event tickets to try and get into an event. For almost all the events, gererics will do. I believe they are $2 a ticket and depending on how much the event cost, one would just need to figure out how many tickets one needs.

As for location, look us up in Ballroom 500. If you are facing the registration booths, turn around and it is to the far left of the convention hall on the main floor...

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Peace,
GS Very Happy
